Notes (Read Before Upgrading):

To upgrade the firmware, you must use the latest copy of the StarDot Tools software (above) and the Express video server be on a local network (Ethernet). Run StarDot Tools, right-click on the ExpressXL in the list, select Advanced -> Upgrade Firmware and follow the on-screen instructions. DO NOT power off the Express Video Server during the upgrade process as this may leave the video server inoperable.
After upgrading the firmware, you may have to re-enter all of the existing settings (IP address, FTP information, etc). If your Express Video Server is not on a DHCP network, it will assign itself its own IP address starting with 169.254. To access the server and assign a permanent address, temporariliy set your computer's IP address to 169.254.100.100. Use StarDot Tools to find the Express Video Servers current IP address.
